Of all the creative mediums I have worked in, comics are the one closest to my heart. I grew up reading from my uncle’s collection and was drawn not only to the worlds inside the pages but also to the power of the storytelling itself.

When I arrived at Florida State, I founded the Comic Book Club, where we hosted discussions, trivia nights, book clubs, and guest speakers.

In 2023, during one of our guest speaker events, I asked, “How do I get into the comic industry?” The answer I received was simple but powerful: “If you want to work in comics, make a comic.” I realized I had been putting it off long enough. Soon after, I teamed up with my friend and artist, Erez Asken, and commissioned my first comic, Pantheon. It is available to read for free on WebToons and is hopefully just the first of many stories to come.
